Double Drifting / Toccoa Tail waterts
Posted On: 04/01/2008 20:04:32
GeorgiaFlyGuide on the Toccoa Tailwaters, we drift this river year-round and you never know what size Trout you'll end up hooking! The River is at its best when the Dam is releasing cold water from BlueRidge Lake, this churns the bottom making bait fish and smaller trout more abundent for the bigger Trout. The River winds its way down through some very scenic back drops which gives this river its beauty. We've been guiding on the Toccoa River for twenty years and the Brown Trout population has become a successful as well as the Rainbow which gives the river great balance!
