I have too many but Lefty is definitely my favorite author followed by my friend and fellow pharmacist, Harry Murray. The how-tos of Doug Swisher, Lefty Kreh and Ed Jaworoswski, and the No Nonsense Guide books are hard to beat. I also like the River Journals if you know where you want to go.

Swimming, snorkeling and photography in coral reefs (Great Barrier reef, etc.) Photography while fishing as well as my butterfly collecting (by photo). Collecting coins, books by certain authors (e.g. James A. Michener - my favorite) and memories of special vacations.

Spent some time in Alberta, Canada this past summer and caught some incredible westslope cutthroats on an unnamed river (promised I would not say). Best day of fishing in my life...better than south island of NZ.

Cutthroat on the line going crazy because it was about to be eaten by a 36"+ bull trout. That is Alberta's common story whether fishing the Bow or other lesser known streams.

Retired USPHS pharmacist who worked in NM for nearly 20 years with the Indian Health Service. Fished the San Juan when it was still a relatively unknown quantity but missed out on many other western streams. Married 28 years to a wonderful gal who tolerates my passion for fly-fishing whenever we vacation. Did some bonefishing in Cozumel and plan to go when in Bonaire soon. We want to go back to Australia and NZ in the near future (after retirement).
