howdy camor, i too love to fish bamboo....just had a spey rod put together by a friend which i will try to fish in tierra del fuego next year for sea run browns...i routinely use they for big rainbows on the kenai river in alaska and also on dupuy's spring creek in montana....my friend who is now gearing up to make his own bamboo rods does nice work...previously, he had only been restoring old rods.....will be interested to see how his rods come out.
We've been very busy with Instructional Fly fishing classesd at Kennesaw State University EDU., we have two classes for spring, one for seniors and one for Co-Ed which has kept us very busy........ each student has conpleted the class which is Level 1 and the class has booked our trips we offer to try out their skills which we've taught them. We do a class trip after each class so that each student can get a hands on learning on the stream presentation practice! We have 4 guides for Georgiaflyguide to help out with every flyfishers needs.... I wished this site had more spaces for photo's....... Godbless! Tight lines..... &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; &nb sp; Lambster
Hello whiskyjack and welcome! We'd love to see some pictures of your favorite flies and maybe a video of how to tie them. Also, feel free to blog about your experiences. We're going to build a vibrant community of people - friends - that all love fly fishing as much as you.
Thanks, I'm looking forward to this new part of the Fish & Fly site. I'm new to forums such as this, ie never "blogged" before but am game to give it a go. Will take some pics of flies and post when I get a chance.
