Recently, I heard a promising report coming from the Olympic Peninsula about a nice push of steelhead in one of the lesser-known rivers along the coast. Despite the skyrocketing gas prices, the fact I accidentally ran over my one good steelhead reel while fishing for redfish in Texas and my ever-present hard luck, I think I'm going to make the trek out that way this weekend.
