Photography, Fly Fishing and Fly Tying

That would have to be the time a group of us fly fished the Potter Co. PA mountain streams for brookies. We had a spectacular day, all of catching and releasing brookies nearing 100 each. The largest was a good 12". We overnighted at a friends camp. It was Georges turn to get the brew from the root cellar, but he took a very long time. Bun went to the ladder and yelled to George asking if anything was wrong. "I got a rattler down here." "Yeah, right." But, he did, so Bun went down the ladder and gently picked up the snake and brought it back into the cabin for all to see. There is more, but space is too short.

Years ago a couple good friends and I were fishing the Letort in PA. Our one friend snagged his fly on the opposite bank. He asked another angler farther downstream if he wouldn't mind wading up and freeing his fly. Howard had to pop the fly!

I'm nearing 72 and have been fly fishing since I was 12 years old. My father brought a little booklet home from work by the Weber Tackle Co about An Introduction To Fly Fishing. It appeled to me and so via a paper route I saved enough money to purchase my first outfit (wish I still had it). I've been at it ever since.
