Title: Georgia's Toccoa River
Tags: Tailwater fishery
Blog Entry: Hello fellow Flyfishers, just a few lines about the Lambster........ I've been Fly fishing for 20 yrs. plus and been guiding folks for 30yrs. We have some real nice fishing here in Georgia, the Toccoa River is our home waters and has some pretty good sized Browns and Bows in its waters plus the upper section has Brookies! For the year 2007 we've landed (8 ) trout 20 inch plus, these large Trout are caught when the Dam is releasing water or after they shut it down. The river is productive year-round but you have to work hard and be lucky or holding your mouth just right! We have three guides that work as a great team and all of them have known me for a good many a year....... this river has a hard gravel and tough limestone that loves to chew on Drift Boats hulls........ any questions please ask away. Godbless and tight lines!
